As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Standard requirements of the Journal of Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies must be:

  1. Written in English
  2. Make sure that your paper is prepared using a JIIS paper template, spacing 1,15 on A4 paper with a length of 6-10 pages.
  3. Use tools such as Zotero or Mendeley for reference management and formatting, and choose APA style edition 7th

STRUCTURE OF THE MANUSCRIPT
The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of the paper typing in sentence case without acronym or abbreviation.
  2. Abstract. Written in English in one paragraph of 150-200 words, no citation. Abstract consists of a primary objective, research design, methodology, results and conclusion.
  3. Section structure. The author is suggested to present their article in the section structure: Introduction – Method - Results and Discussion - Conclusion – Acknowledgement – References (References. Except for a minimum 0f 25 references)
